Advocate for mutuality
Bring communities, insurers and institutions together to pool risk and protect one another.
We don't deliver a finished scheme from outside. We start with the groups where Ugandans already save, farm and support one another, then help them strengthen and formalise the protection they're reaching for.
The objectives from our Special Resolution. Everything we do flows from them.
Bring communities, insurers and institutions together to pool risk and protect one another.
Protect income and assets so one shock doesn't undo years of progress.
Build protection shaped around the real risks communities face.
Plain-language education so families understand their risks and options.
Affordable, community-owned protection that keeps families out of debt.
Ongoing advice on risk, protection and resilience, wherever it's needed.
We facilitate and advise, never sell. Here's how mutual protection takes shape.
We begin with the SACCO, cooperative or savings group the community already trusts.
Plain-language sessions show members the risks they face and their options.
We bring in trusted insurers to pool risk on fair, affordable terms.
Members shape and run the protection, backed by mobile money and advice.
The households most exposed to risk and least served today. Because they already support one another, they're the natural place to start.

For farmers, traders and market vendors, failed rains, crop disease, livestock loss, theft, fire or illness can wipe out income overnight. We work through cooperatives, associations and savings circles to build protection that keeps one setback from becoming a lost livelihood.

Members already pool money, lend to one another and carry each other's risk informally. We help them formalise that instinct — adding clear, affordable protection on top of the savings and credit they already trust.

These are among Uganda's oldest mutual-aid networks, organised around helping members through loss. We come alongside them — never to replace how they already care for their own, but to widen what that care can reliably cover.
